Jaime Rguez presents three pieces that, under his background as video-artist and art theorist, he calls sound-videoArt. This is a work that follows the same approach, the inter disciplinary collaboration of two creatives: A musician that composes the sound and a video artist that starts working from it. The result is a process of creative inter-relation between both artists in order to create an only way of expression with an hybrid character whose authorship comes from common work.
In every sound-videoArt, Jaime Rguez works the whole process of visual edition, using visual recordings that are his own creation and making use of the “appropriation” of images or videos that can be found in different  Internet sites. These images are then dematerialized, decontextualized and reinterpreted in order to create a new audiovisual piece of art that works with the concept and approach that comes from the sound artist. In this occasion, it can be defined as an intrinsic co-operation between different cultural and geographical spaces, but connected by the social networks that are organized around the Web. In this artistic relationship, every sound composer comes from a different country and the visual creative, Jaime Rguez, is the catalytic center of a cultural exchange based on collaboration.

This exhibition offers a discourse of experimental sounds via different forms of media incorporating sculpture, installation and film and is to challenge traditional sensibilities as to what quantifies as music.

Experimental sound is a particular genre of music that is elusive to many; it is a genre where people explore sounds outside general rules of composition and assembly to create an unaccustomed type of music.
